Nursing Home begins 'New Chapter' 
following Horizon Refurbishment

Horizon Building Contractors have recently completed an extensive renovation at Priory Court Care Nursing Home, formerly The Burnham Care Home.  Priory Court Care is part of the award-winning Country Court Care Group. A recent surprise CQC (Quality Care Commission) inspection has seen Priory Court Care pass, and exceed their previous rating. Considerations made during Horizons’ recent refurbishment of the home are in the report and Horizon are proud to be a part of “A New Chapter’ for our client.

Priory Court Care (formerly The Burnham Nursing and Residential Centre) provides personal care and accommodation for up to 71 older people. Accommodation at Priory Court Care is provided over three floors.

Horizon Building Contractors were contracted to complete full renovation works on all floors. Work included bedrooms, en-suite and separate bathrooms. Reception areas, including lounge, break-out areas, hallways and stairways.

Further to the refurbishment of rooms to the standard and detailed specification required by our care home client; Horizon also completed full redecoration and finishings throughout. Decoration and finishings included painting, tiling, carpeting and flooring.

Key Features

We saw extensive work had been carried on the renovation and redecoration of the top floor of the building. This had been renovated to a high standard and was ready to be occupied. On-going renovation and redecoration was also evident on the other floors in the home.
